Pastoral Support

Pastoral support is concerned with providing longer term support and assistance to enhance health, welfare and recovery. This is especially important following a critical incident or significant personal event. It also helps those people needing a prolonged strategy for treating persistent issues.

EASA’s pastoral support program includes confidential and accessible support services for employees or individuals who identify themselves, or are referred, as needing follow up assistance.

It includes:

  • Personal support
  • Counselling
  • 24/7 telephone support
  • Referrals e.g. medical, chaplaincy, peer support, community services
  • Emergency accommodation.

Employees can refer themselves to any of the services, can be referred by a manager or work colleague, or be identified by EASA staff. Services extend to immediate families.
