What is an EAP?
An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a free and confidential external support and counselling service offered by employers to foster employee wellbeing.
EAPs typically involve a package of:
- Professional short term counselling with referral and case management
- Management assistance services
- Organisational and team interventions
- Reporting to assess program penetration and assist with organisational strategy.
